New episode every Tuesday on all major platforms. Season #2 COMING SOON!!!!
Hey Y'all. My name is Jessica. I was born and raised in Kentucky. I have always been fascinated by mystery and true crime. I used to pull a rusted red wagon to my neighborhood library to load up on Agatha Christie, Nancy Drew and non-fiction true crime books. I have always been an avid reader, listener and watcher of all things related to criminal law and true crime. Some of my earliest memories are watching "American Justice" with my Uncle Buster after school. This same curiosity eventually lead me to law school. I had hoped to find a career in criminal law, but unfortunately real life happened and I took a regular 9 - 5 job to pay the bills. I have spent my career in public service primarily in local government. Despite my day job, my passion for criminal law, the quest for justice and the sociology of crime has never waned.
I am not a prosecutor nor a public defender or defense attorney. I come to true crime as a trained attorney, but with a common sense approach to the facts and the evidence in every case. I believe many unsolved Kentucky cases just need to be brought into the light for answers to be found.
This podcast (and eventual blog) will explore unsolved murder cases, suspicious disappearances and other legal mysteries from Kentucky. I hope that by doing a deep dive into these cases that the victims and their stories can get new publicity, which may generate new tips to assist law enforcement in bringing resolution to the friends and families that have waited too long for justice. I hope you'll join me as I try to let the light in....
